ARTEMIS'2010

Submission and Guidelines

Papers must be registered and submitted using the ACM Multimedia conference management software.

Submissions to ARTEMIS at ACM Multimedia 2010 must include new, unpublished, original research. Simultaneous submission to another conference/workshop/journal is not allowed. Papers must be original and have not been published or under consideration for publications elsewhere.

All submissions must be written in English. The submissions will be reviewed in a double-blind procedure by at least two experts from the field. Hence, the papers must contain no information identifying the author(s) or their organization(s).

All papers must be submitted in an electronic format, which conforms to the ACM proceedings style and submitted as PDF files. Papers must strictly adhere to page limits of max 6 pages, double-column ACM proceedings style. See details on ACM Multimedia 2010 conference web site.

Authors of best-valued papers presented in ACM ARTEMIS2010 will be also invited to submit a revised and upgraded version of their papers to a Special Issue of Computer Vision and Image Understanding journal. Papers submitted for the SI must contain significant new material so they will undergo a second review process.

The journal special issue is also open to papers not presented at the workshop. The deadline for the journal Special Issue is November 1, 2010. See here for further information of the special issue.
